Bryce Harper Wears Awesome ‘I Love Bad Pitches’ Shirt

As if Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper needed to give us more reasons to fuck with him, he recently busted out this t-shirt during his minor league rehab assignment:

The Routine Baseball tee is, of course, a nod to the A$AP Rocky x Drake x 2 Chainz x Kendrick Lamar smash from last year. And, since baseball and hip-hop intersect only on rare occasions — at least, as compared to hoops and football — we'd be remiss not to salute Bryce for the style play. You’re a free swinger. You don’t deny it. Leaving the bat on your shoulder just doesn’t make sense to you. You always say, “A baseball was meant to be hit… and if it wasn’t, then why give me this bat?” Leading the team in doubles and strikeouts is kind of like a draw, right? Harper is ready to return to the big league club (they've missed his bat dearly) on Monday night after two months on the mend. Washington is just hoping the shirt is a joke. Harp hit .289 with one homer in 83 at-bats before going down with a thumb injury in late April.
