A$AP Rocky's SVDDXNLY documentary premiered at SXSW to pretty good reviews earlier this year, but now the trailer has premiered for its wider release on Noisey. The film looks at the Harlem rapper's rise over the past few years, and to be honest, it looks pretty dope. But the trailer also conveniently debuted just a day after news emerged that Rocky was being sued for allegedly slapping a woman at last year's Made in America festival. If that's not some Illuminati-type conspiracy shit, we dunno what is.

It's all likely a coincidence, but still, we can't help but point out that the same man whose charisma is the key driver of a new documentary also slapped one woman in public and maybe two.
