The latest Air Jordan silhouette to join the family is finally here and it’s pulling a hard reset to garner some much needed attention. The Air Jordan XXX1 is reaching back into the annals of it’s own history and using of one the brand's most iconic colorways to introduce the next chapter in its story.

The Air Jordan XXX1 Banned blends the old with the new by way of both form and function. The overall shape of the shoe has been streamlined but it’s very much Air Jordan 1 inspired and it even brings back the Nike Swoosh on the mid panel, which hasn’t been seen on an Air Jordan model since the first one. The BRED colorway is an easy sell as usual, and thanks to the flyknit upper the gradient fade, is smoother than ever.

As a fashion item, most of the new Air Jordan releases have been missing the mark, but the Air Jordan XXX1 Banned will look good on and off the court. Look for them at Nike retailers on September 3 starting at $185 a pair.
