This Saturday, August 9, the Air Jordan 6 "Spizike" is set to release — and set to fuck up the sneaker game forever.

The OG "Spizike" is a sneaker that has caused a ton of controversy since its original release back in 2006, and this version of the sneaker may be have the same hype in the 2010's. This week, one writer took to sneaker outlet Sole Collector to claim that the OG "Spizike" is the best sneaker of the past decade (nah) predicting that it will sell extremely well (probably).

As you can tell in the post's comments section, the opinion didn't go over too well, but it did raise the interesting question: What other Jordan releases have been better? Non-retros, we're just talking original silhouettes. It was difficult for us to come up with an answer, but we're going with the recent Jordan Futures. Granted, the Futures haven't been selling too well, but that devolves into another discussion about what "the best" exactly means, and we're not going to open up that wormhole.

If you want to cop these sneakers, odes to fire trucks in shape and size, they'll be available at Foot Locker this Saturday for $170.
