It's recently been confirmed that a Biggie documentary is on the way.

The doc, tentatively titled Notorious B.I.G.: One More Chance, will focus on Biggie's musical impact around the world. This won't be the first time that a film focusing on the legendary rapper will hit movie screens. While 2009's biopic, Notorious, received lukewarm reviews, fans are hopeful that this documentary will shine a little more brightly on Biggies impact. Voletta Wallace, Biggie's mother, is in full support of the upcoming film.

“It brings so much joy to my heart that my son Christopher’s music has made such an impact on the music community and his stories have positively inspired so many young men and women over the years, and still influencing the youth all over the world today,” Wallace told Variety.

This news comes on the heels of a new trailer for Tupac's long-awaited biopic, All Eyez on Me, which hits theaters this June. Jamal Woolard, who starred in Notorious, will reprise his role as Biggie for the Pac film as well. Additionally, a film about the deaths of Biggie and Pac starring Johnny Depp, Labyrinth, is scheduled to hit theaters sometime this year.

As of now, no release date has been set for the Biggie documentary.
