Va$htie Picks Week 1’s NFL Games

Face it: You don't know much about NFL football. In fact, even the so-called "experts" on TV can barely pick half the games right each week. So rather than sit up here on our high horse and act like we know more than you do, we'd rather have some fun. Each week during the 2014 NFL season, we're going to invite a celebrity from the world of music, fashion, pop culture or otherwise to pick games with us. First up is Vashtie — read on!

New York-based artist, director, DJ and designer Vashtie Kola may not look like much of an athlete, but given her status as a member of the defending champion Jamaica Diamond Turf in Nike's exclusive Nike Football Society flag football league, you better think twice before questioning her sports knowledge. Sure, Va$htie's been busy with the release of her latest clothing line, Violette Haze Collection — a killer collaboration with Cam'Ron — but she still found time this week to look into her crystal (foot)ball and provide us her picks for Week 1.
