adidas Originals EQT “The Best of Adidas” Part 1

Today, adidas turns 65 years old. So it's fitting that today the brand would also launch Part I of a short film about the history of the adidas Equipment line, which was introduced to the world in March of 1991.

A collection of kicks and apparel that spanned from running to football, the adi EQT line carved out its own unique niche in the marketplace, and its become a beloved classic to sneakerheads ever since. Its tagline was "The best of adidas," which is also the name of the short film series that begins with Part I, which you can watch above.

Created by Will Robson-Scott, the first short film coincides with the Equipment Guidance silhouette on August 23, and it features adidas Equipment creative director Peter Moore,  Jesse Villanueva of ALIFE, adidas Originals design director Paul Mittleman, Shigeyuki Kunii from mita sneakers and adidas connoisseur and collector Gary Aspden. Happy birthday, adi!
